Not Music is a small, fictional art project. This policy describes what we collect if you choose to create a listener account. Browsing and streaming the catalog does not require an account.
What we collect
Listener accounts store your email address only. We use it to send passwordless sign-in links. We do not ask for your name, payment information, or social profiles.
How sign-in works
When you request access, we email a one-time link from [email protected]. After you confirm, we keep you signed in with a session cookie on your device for up to 30 days.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run advertising trackers across the web.
- We do not use your email for marketing blasts (this is a hobby site).
Local data in your browser
Queue order, playback resume, and similar preferences may be stored locally in your browser even without an account. That data stays on your device unless we add optional sync features later.
Account deletion
You may close your listener account from your account page. We mark the account closed and stop sending sign-in links to that address.
